Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Card Index account, operated by ConsulTech Ventures LLC, and what happens to your data when you do. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Card Index and make sure you are signed in.
- Tap your profile picture in the top corner to open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Review the summary, tap Delete my account, then confirm.
Your account and data are removed immediately. This is a real deletion rather than a deactivation: there is no grace period, and the account cannot be restored afterwards.
If you cannot sign in
If you have lost access to your device or can no longer sign in, email info@cardindex.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm that you own the account and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes the following, including the files stored for them:
- Your profile — email address, display name, username, and profile photo.
- Your collection, including every card, quantity, condition, and note.
- Your scan history and the card images captured by your scans.
- Your watchlist and the cards you follow.
- Your listings, along with their photos, videos, view history, and any open offers.
- Your subscription record and entitlement history.
- Any waitlist entries or sell requests associated with your account.
What is kept, and for how long
Where money has actually moved, we keep a record of the transaction for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. This applies only to completed sales, offers with an authorized or captured payment, and cards delivered to us whose payout has not yet been sent.
These records are stripped of the fields that identify the people involved before they are retained, so what remains describes the transaction and not you. They are kept for seven years from the date of deletion, after which they are removed.
We may also retain information for longer where the law requires it, or where it is needed to resolve a dispute or enforce our agreements.
Your subscription is separate
If you subscribe to Card Index Pro, your subscription is billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it yourself before or after deleting your account:
