These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Card Index mobile app and related services (the “Service”) provided by ConsulTech Ventures LLC (“Card Index,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
  • Scrape, resell, or redistribute catalog, pricing, or other data from the Service except as expressly permitted.
  • Upload content that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable law.

Subscriptions and payments

Card Index offers an optional paid subscription (“Card Index Pro”) that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
  • Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or the applicable app store’s policies.

Valuations and market data

Card values, price estimates, and market data provided by the Service are estimates compiled from third-party sources and are provided for informational purposes only. They are not financial, investment, or appraisal advice, and we do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on this information.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content we provide, is owned by ConsulTech Ventures LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. Trading card names, images, and marks belong to their respective owners.

User content

You retain ownership of the content you add to the Service, such as photos and collection details. You grant us a license to store and process that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConsulTech Ventures LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
